A New Horizon for Collaboration: JenaVersum joins EC2U

JenaVersum is proud to announce its partnership with the European University Alliance (EC2U) as an associated partner, beginning november 1, 2023. This collaboration represents an opportunity to drive innovation, knowledge exchange, and interdisciplinary collaboration across Europe. Already in November 2022, the General Assembly of JenaVersum voted unanimously in favor of the associated partnership.

Why EC2U?
EC2U is a dynamic alliance of eight longstanding European universities committed to advancing education, research, innovation, and service to society. What truly sets EC2U apart is its immense international network of over 60 associated partners, including university hospitals, municipalities, and businesses. This diversity of stakeholders creates a unique platform for cross-sector collaboration and knowledge co-creation.

What’s next?
As we step into this partnership with EC2U, it’s essential to recognize that our collaboration isn’t starting from scratch. Over the past three years, JenaVersum partners have already actively contributed to EC2U, notably through the EC2U Think Tanks or the Entrepreneurial Academy. These contributions will persist during the consolidation phase of EC2U from 2023 to 2027. The next highlight will be a joint Makeathon in May 2024.
