JenaKultur is a municipal company that unites all cultural institutions and the tourism under one roof. The company has a model character and secures cultural work financially and organizationally without restricting the creativity and flexibility of the institutions.
On the other hand, JenaKultur stands for many special moments in the lives of the people of the city of Jena and its guests. The summer music festival “Kulturarena” and the “Jenaer Philharmonie” (Jena Philharmonic Orchestra). The Volkshochschule Jena (Adult Education Center) and the Musik- und Kunstschule Jena (Jena Music and Art School). The Ernst Abbe Library and the Jena Municipal Museums. Volksbad Jena (“Jena People’s Baths”) and Volkshaus Jena. Tourism and cultural marketing. And much more. Whether for young or old. Whether preserving or future-oriented. Our facilities and topics are diverse and always vivid.
Since thefounding in 2005, our more than 250 employees have demonstrated with every project, every course, every concert and every event the passion with which they live culture and develop it further for Jena.
